  • In the beginning of the beginning of the fourth chapter he finally realizes that his mother cannot harm him any more. But he still had a feeling that some how she would get him. But he had another feeling that told him that he wold never see his mother of his brothers ever again.
  • At first he was confused not living with them and with the thought that he did not deserve to live with them and he also felt that he was unworthy that's why his mother didn't love him and wanted to kick him out her house.
  • He tried his best not to think about his past or anything that would make him remember that terrible e felt " like a light switch, I imagined myself flicking on and off my entire past" (Pelzer 80)
  • In the beginning of the Fifth chapter he was beginning to live a normal life he would admire every second of it every time he would ride his Murrar bicycle and sleeping with his window open that he never did eating breakfast in the morning.
  • He finally had a motherly figure in his life and she was Mrs. Cantaze every chance he would get when he was leaving the house he would wave at her. Just like a son would do to his mother which i think is good for him to finally have a good motherly figure.
