- The reoson why Richard had ste the curtains on fire was because he was really bored and had nothing to do beacause his mother didnt want him making any noise that might disturd his sick grandmother.
- Richard had found watching things burn facinating so he wanted to see the white curtains his mother had burn so he set them on fire and that caused the whole house to burn.
